The Pleasant Valley School provides campers with traditional, age-appropriate camp activities that will develop their mind, bodies, and souls. Our program provides an assortment of activities that are sure to challenge the children child and expose them to different experiences and skills. Our counselors facilitate daily adventures where campers are taught social, intellectual, physical and creative skills to transform their mind, body, and souls. Additionally, each camper will be placed on a team and throughout the week there will be community building and competitions to gain points for their team. During snack and lunch break campers will connect and collaborate with their teammates on different challenges. The Pleasant Valley School summer camp is guided by the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, which emphasizes collaboration, communication, and respect for children's abilities and interests. The camp also includes opportunities for children to work on projects and investigations as they explore the world around them. Overall, the camp aims to provide a fun and engaging summer experience that also supports children's intellectual and social-emotional development.
