School Services
Central Dining Hall
The school Central Dining Hall is a facility that can accommodate all the students when they come in for their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having a meal with the community they so deeply relate with is an important practice and harmony and responsibility. The school menus are supervised by qualified nutritionists to ensure that our pupils receive healthy, balanced, nutritional meals. Our facilities enable us to offer a variety of menus adapted to the needs of each age group.
All meals are freshly prepared by our chefs and served in our Central Dining Hall. With an emphasis on healthy and balanced eating, our chef uses local produce and recipes from every region. Boarding students enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week, apart from tea/coffee/milk and snacks twice in the day. The school dining room provides nourishing, healthy, and balanced meals to the students. The school's chefs design the menu, keeping in mind the needs and desires of the children. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are served and the students often play an active part in menu planning. The school is very particular about cultural and religious sentiments and neither pork nor beef are ever served.
The day begins with a good breakfast with their classmates, so they can enjoy the first classes with energy. At the end of the school day and after a snack, the residents have the support of their educators to do their homework.
The Central Dining Hall currently has capacity to seat over 500 students and teachers. It is serviced by a very modern and hygienic kitchen. The entire management of the CDH is standardised around the best practices from preparation and delivery. The Menu is designed by expert nutritionists to provide balanced nutrition. Advocating a policy of healthy eating, the School does not permit junk food and aerated soft drinks on the campus.
