The Pleasant Valley School is a non-profit, non-proprietary co-educational, residential school (CBSE Syllabus), under the Pleasant Valley Foundation. It is located in Korichina, about 14 kilometres from Ranikhet, in a natural Himalayan setting which preserves all its environmental value. Popularly known as Highland, our School synchronizes itself with the pristine purity of the Himalayas – showering its blessings on this quaint hill station Ranikhet – situated 6132 feet above sea level and within sight of the western peaks of the Himalayas.
Ranikhet has a healthy climate, tall coniferous trees, vast green meadows and tranquil surroundings where every season has its own irresistible charm, making it an all-season destination. Our large tree-clad campus with its green playing fields nestling in the picturesque foothills of the mighty Himalayas is an ideal place for nurturing young minds in the lap of nature. The fresh, fragrant and pollution-free air, the whistling pines, pristine dew and the panoramic view of snow-capped Himalayan ranges – Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Mrigthuni, Maiktoli, Nanda Devi East, Nandaghat, Chhanguch, Nandakut and Dangthal – leave a magic upon the spirit.’ The Pleasant Valley School is designed to provide our pupils with a global education, through the use of a full range of facilities that help create a positive atmosphere. Our facilities are light and airy, and are adapted to meet all the needs of our students, who have access to the various different spaces designed specifically for each of the activities included in the academic programme. The School offers spacious classrooms, laboratories, I.T. rooms and other facilities with latest technology. There are also recreation areas, outdoor sports facilities and an exceptional Yoga and Meditation Centre.
